With a background in counseling psychology and design, Troy Phillips, a native of Oklahoma, USA, found a passion for photography as a teen.  His love for photography grew while living & studying abroad in Japan before settling in New York City in the early 1990's.

Phillips debuted his professional photography career in 2005 with a fine-art portrait exhibition in New York City at the prestigious National Arts Club.  Additional exhibitions continued in Osaka, Tokyo, Toronto, NYC & Brooklyn.

Phillips produced fine-art and editorial works which have been seen in various international magazines including DNA, Blue, Instinct, Yes, and Exercise magazines as well as books by Bruno Gmunder & Abrams publishers.
